A white vanity and bathroom sink are being remodeled in a house in southern Ireland, to make way for a two-bedroom house for a man to buy.
The renovation will be done at a cost of about €30,000.
The house, which was purchased in the 1920s by an elderly couple, is in the parish of Roscommon.
A local newspaper reported that the owner of the house is keen to open a new home for the couple, who live in a cottage.
The owner is now looking to make the €30k renovation affordable for a young family.
A house with two bedrooms has to be fitted with modern amenities, such as high ceilings, double doors and balconies, and has to offer the ability to share a bathroom with a guest, for example.
The new house has been designed to look like the original, but the owner plans to use modern features such as glass windows and modern appliances, said the local newspaper.
